As a rule for business sites we recommend the VIR-P Plan so that your site is on a server with 25 or fewer sites, one of the most important differences between these plans is the number of sites that are hosted on one server. The number of sites on a server is important because all of the sites on a particular server share that server's resources (similar to living in an apartment building). In fact, most Web Hosting companies put over 500 sites on one server. ECUi does not! We limit the number of sites on our Windows based servers depending on which plan you chosen. ECUi has fewer sites per server, so your site is always fast and reliable.

For a business site, we recommend the VIR-P Plan for a strong and efficient site; we provide several select features and enhancements (both application and hardware wise) which helps make this an ideal platform for use with either our e-Commerce StoreFront solutions or 3rd party solutions.

Our VIR-P plan supports online transaction processing, SharePoint Team Services, provides you with access to our Helix Universal Media Server, Windows Media Server and SQL Servers.

For mission critical sites, we recommend our Dedicated Plans. This is your best option; your site is the only site on the server. Dedicated Plans permit you to install any applications you may require, and provide you with dedicated resources for your sole utilization. Advantages of a dedicated server include:

• Your site is the only one on the server (this means that no one else's data or services are on the same server),
• Your site has a generous set amount of data transfer,
• You have at least 80GB of hard disk space, and
• Your server supports any application you may require.

For the site that is important to your business, but where budget is a large factor, we recommend the VIR-L Plan. This plan allows you almost all of the functionality of the VIR-P Plan, but at the lower cost of a smaller plan. The VIR-L Plan includes the following advantages:

• Your site is one of only 75 sites on the server,
• Your site has 75GB Data Transfer Per Month,
• Your site has 500MB of space.

For an introductory site, we recommend starting with the VIR-M Plan. With this plan you can introduce your business to customers all over the world. The VIR-M Plan includes the following advantages:

• Your site is one of only 100 sites on the server,
• Your site has 50GB Data Transfer Per Month,
• Your site has 350MB of space.
